In addition to Private Hires, many events take place at the Guild Hall & Guild Hall and Jubilee Gardens for which no charge is made. All of these events are at the discretion of the Trustees and include events that have an intrinsic civic value to the community and events that are of substantial benefit to the community as a whole.
Applications for private hire are welcome.
The Guild Hall Trust is an independent charity and by choosing the Guild Hall Trust, Guild Hall Garden or Jubilee Garden for your special occasion you will be helping to contribute to the conservation work of the Guild Hall Trust so that not only will you and your guests have a memorable day, but the Guild Hall & gardens will continue to be cared for so that future generations can enjoy it for years to come.
Guild Hall Gardens & Jubilee Gardens – Private Hire Charges.
Guild Hall – Party Day Rate (Morning, Afternoon or Evening):
9:00am – 1:00pm, 1:30pm – 5:30pm and 6:00pm – 11:00pm.
Day Rate – 9:00am – 5:30pm.
Day & Evening – 9:00am – 11:00pm.

All Private Hire Applications need to be countersigned by a Trustee who, in countersigning your application, will be accepting joint and several responsibility for the event being carried out in accordance with your Hire Specific Agreement.
This joint responsibility also extends to payment of hire charges and covers financial responsibility for damage or additional charges as detailed in your Hire Specific Agreement.
A deposit of £250.00 will be taken with all private bookings.
A booking can only be confirmed when the duly completed Hire Specific Agreement has been countersigned by all three signatories & the appropriate deposit lodged.
